I’m so excited to share what I have for you today, but first a little background…
Fruition Fitness was born around 2008 (actually it started as Fruition Personal Training back then) and the word fruition was the perfect term to convey our mission.
We wanted everyone to be the best version of themselves. To reach their goals–whatever they may be. Our clients typically did not have marathons or Ironmans on their radar–and that was OK. That’s why today, on fruitionfitness.com, you see a mix of high level training and racing mixed with real life tips for just plain being healthy and fit. We want to share our experiences as inspiration and motivation, but also enjoy giving people the tools they need to get by in everyday life. Visit our About page for more info!
Personally, 2015 has been a crazy year. Renovating a home while living in an apartment with our brand new family of four. Training for a marathon during my first full post-baby comeback season. Actually running the marathon. Actually moving into the house. And, oh yeah, spontaneously going back to work full time.
Getting to the starting line of the marathon was really a huge accomplishment, and after race day my focus shifted immediately to our family and the impending changes.
So here I am today, living in our beautiful new home, back at work, trying to get organized, not really training much at all.
That leads me to my 2016 resolution.
If you’re not keen on New Year’s Resolutions, check out yesterday’s post…
My Goal
There’s no doubt I will run races this year, but that’s secondary to this goal. My goal in 2016 is to Do At Least One Thing Everyday. I wrote this post so long ago, recently fixed it up, and just can’t seem to get it off my mind. It is so simple and so effective, and the fact that it is still one of my top 3 posts means it must resonate with people. Making a conscious effort each day to do just one little thing to make yourself healthier or happier can lead to such bigger and better things.
I have a great post that goes along with this on 7 Ways to Be Healthy and Fit Today. Simple, attainable, effective ways to be healthier each and every day.
That’s the goal.
What You Can Expect
If you follow me on social media (check the sidebar up top!) you know I am pretty active. Each day you will see me posting #WhatsYourFruition. That tagline has been with us since we started, and I’m so excited to put it into action. Those posts will be the ones that either 1) show me doing something healthy that day, or 2) just giving some tips I think you might like to use yourself.
What You Can Do
I totally want you to join in on the healthy action by using #WhatsYourFruition to show the little thing(s) you do each day to make yourself better. Share the inspiration to encourage everyone to think about what it is they want out of life and take small actions to get there.
To Sum It Up
The movement starts full force January 1st! I hope you’ll join in, hey who knows, maybe they’ll be some prizes along the way! 😉
Linkup below if you have a workout, fitness find or healthy recipe to share! Just make sure to link back or grab the badge and we will make sure to spread the inspiration around 🙂

Thanks! It’s keeping me accountable as well!!
Love this post, and love the explanation behind Fruition–so often we use that word and have no clue what it means.
Thanks! People often ask me what fruition means so I figured a general definition might be helpful!
I love the resolution of doing something every day! I try to follow that–even if it’s walking from the parking lot to my office instead of catching the shuttle. I always feel like a blob if I don’t move.

Thank you! I hate letting life take control…this is a way to take it back.
What a great idea! Doing one little thing every day is what will make living healthy a lifestyle vs. a short-lived goal. Love!
