So this happened this weekend.
My dad’s 60th birthday, the winery, and my sister-in-law’s famous cookies. Her recipe is secret, and ever-changing. Evolving from butter and oil, to whole wheat flour and coconut sugar. We try to convince her to somehow package and sell them, but she’s happy just preparing them for family events–lucky us! But, maybe one day I will be promoting her famous cookie company!
Fitness-wise, I actually walked at least a mile this weekend. Sounds crazy for someone who just ran a marathon, but you can’t deny that walking a mile is fitness activity–especially when pulling a 50 pound wagon of kids.
Since we just moved, our running stroller is still stuck in storage, but I can’t help but thinking, why am I walking when I can be running??
I often think that normally. Like, when I’m walking through a parking lot.
Running would be so much faster, I often think. I guess that means I’m a real runner. So whenever I start running again is fine! I have a relay team for Rob’s Run on November 29, and I may not be training right now, but I will not disappoint.
Do you ever find yourself wanting to run somewhere, just because it would be faster?
If I get enough comments, maybe she’ll let me post the cookie recipe one day! 😉

Choc cookies are my favorite! You are a real runner doesn’t matter how fast you run. At least that’s what I keep telling myself

They are sooo delicious!
I ALWAYS think that I could be running when I am walking or even driving and stuck in traffic, haha!
