You may have noticed my birthday was just this past Monday. I’m cool with being a year older AND entering a new age group, (hello, 35-39!) but birthdays always spawn a feeling of wanting to make sure you still have it. So after I skipped my birthday run for some much needed sleep, I figured a workout was in order the next day.
I chose these reps to add up to 35 (my new age), but you can customize it however you like depending on your age. Don’t get too crazy with the numbers–remember, it’s more about proving to yourself that you’re still a bad ass even at your advanced age!
Birthday workouts aren’t meant to be easy. This was a total body challenge that had me exhausted by the end.
I am not currently a certified personal trainer…please exercise at your own risk!
What workout do you use to celebrate your birthday?

Cute workout! Happy happy birthday!! I’ve never thought of birthdays in the terms of age groups. The 35-39 group always seems so fast.

Happy Happy Birthday!! I’m getting anxious that I’m going to be in the 40-45 group next year! How did THAT happen? Looks like a great workout. I love to hate those plyo lunges!
Thanks! Plyo lunges are the best and worst! 🙂
