Summer Berry Creamsicles

July 17, 2015 Michelle Homan 15 Comments

Ice pops are refreshing, but a creamsicle that you can practically have for lunch is just dreamy. And the best part about these creamsicles is that they are made from all natural goodness, customized to any taste.

Summer Berry Creamsicles you can practically have for lunch! #sweatpink @fitapproach

After much research (too much research!), I purchased these Popsicle Molds from Amazon {affiliate link} and waited patiently totally impatiently for them to arrive. They appeared exactly the way the picture showed them, and even though the molds looked small, they were actually just the right size.

Very Berry Summer Creamsicles- Yogurt Pops

My daughter and I had already stocked up on ingredients we wanted for our creamsicles in anticipation of their arrival (thank goodness for Amazon Prime). She wanted blue and red, so we had loads of blueberries and strawberries, and I thought vanilla greek yogurt would make a great base.

However, there are 6 molds and why in the world would I make 6 of the same flavor pops when I have so much freedom?! So obviously I started pulling everything out of the cabinets that I could think of to make a great creamsicle pop.

Check out the flavors and guess which were our favorites!

Berry Creamsicles

I’m holding Vanilla Greek Yogurt with Strawberry and Blueberries. In the way back right is Vanilla Yogurt, Chocolate Protein Powder with Strawberries and Blueberries. In front of that is half and half. Back left is Vanilla Yogurt, Chocolate Protein Powder and Chocolate Chips. The two in front of that are Chobani (I don’t work for them, just really love them!) Limited Batch Grape. The best part about the Grape is that they were on sale for 87 cents already, then an additional 50 cents off as a managers’ special!! Total score! They were expiring the next day, but perfect for my pop project later that afternoon. The grape were super refreshing!

The molds were easy to pack with a tablespoon and once they were ready to be eaten, they just needed a quick run under hot water to loosen up. As you can see, the one I am holding is out of the mold and came out great (they all did!).

These are so healthy my daughter literally had her Vanilla Berry one for lunch one day. She thinks it’s a treat, I know it’s healthy–everyone wins!

I love your thinking, we like to have popsicles and ice cream for breakfast in the summer! Especially when it’s healthy and just fruit and or yogurt and just good healthy stuff we would be having anyways.

Ahh! These look all sorts of awesome! I’d never have thought to put in protein powder into popsicles, but that’s a great idea! :] Can’t wait to try this out! <3

Thanks Tina! They are really so good. My daughter has them a lot for a mid-day treat (aka lunch) and the good part is that if she doesn’t finish we can put it back in the mold to save!
