3 days post marathon…wondering what’s up next? I had crazy ideas of signing up for the Philadelphia Marathon and try to close in on the 3:40 mark I’m looking for, but we all know that’s just the runners high talking. Then part of me just wants to pack it in and eat all the things. But in reality, I’m going to meet in the middle and get back to total body strength training, with an emphasis on core, going easy on the legs this week while I’m still in recovery mode.
This is a go to workout I’ve always relied on and I like to call it the Log Roll for the ground you can cover while performing it. Perfect for an outdoor session on beautiful fall day 😉
I love the way this workout actually rolls around your whole body. Even if you don’t have room to roll, just rolling in place will do just fine.
Do you have a ‘go to’ workout?
Linkup below if you have a workout, fitness find or healthy recipe to share! Just make sure to link back or grab the badge and we will make sure to spread the inspiration around 🙂
Also linking up with Jill Conyers for Fitness Friday!

Haha– yes, signing up for another marathon so soon is definitely the runners high talking! Although, the Philadelphia Marathon is awesome (ran it last year). This looks like a great core workout!

Thanks so much! Can’t get enough planks!
I am running Philly in a few weeks! Aiming to hit 3:45 and slooooowly get that BQ of 3:35…in due time though! I love the plank workout and how you make it functional. I love adding movement to plank workouts! I’m gonna have to try this!

Ahhh, good luck!! Having that BQ so close is the only thing making want to do it! Thanks!!
I love that core workout! I’m going to pin that for later!
And is it bad I always want to eat all the things, even though I’m not training for a marathon? 😉

Another great workout! I know these rolls will kill me…but hopefully I can hold each position for 20 seconds!

I’m not sure what I know what a reverse tabletop is? Or maybe I know it as a different name?
It’s kind of like a crab walk. I ways try to google the most common names for poses! One day I’ll have pics 🙂
