Gifts for Runners

December 14, 2016 Michelle Homan 14 Comments

If you’re a runner, or you know a runner, there are so many unique options besides just plain socks (although runners would surely appreciate a quality pair like these!).

This year I decided to curate a list of gifts for runners that might be not so obvious, but are sure to put a smile on their face–without draining your bank account. What I focused on for this guide was providing gifts that runners would love, but could utilize even when they are not running–cause hey, we’re not always running!

Check out these gifts that runners can enjoy even when they’re not running! #runchat

Of course this ‘gift guide’, as all my gift guides are, can also be considered a wish list. As a runner myself, I would absolutely love anything on this list. 😉

Momentum Jewelry

I’ve worked with Momentum before and they are just such an amazing and inspiring company all around. Spread the positive energy by getting your runner a SPARKlet!

I’ll never regret a @momentumjewelry impulse buy! I’ve been eyeing these Sparklets for a while now, and finally decided on Relentless 💪🏻 A simple piece with a strong reminder 👊🏻

Running Bracelet

I bought these for my nieces (the softball version and dance), but realized they also have a bracelet for runners! They are a super cute, inexpensive gift.

Believe in your Run Necklace

I randomly came across this on Amazon, but it is right up my ally. It’s from the ‘Handmade’ department (similar to Etsy). I love the hand-stamped, layered look, and especially the ‘believe’. I think it would be a subtle reminder as a runner glances in the mirror over the course of a busy day.

Runner’s World Subscription

Runner’s World is the only magazine I still subscribe to and look forward to getting every month. There’s always tons of useful and inspirational information in every issue.

Rx Bars

Runners are hungry all. the. time. And usually they want to fuel their bodies with wholesome foods. Encourage that habit by treating them to some Rx bars! I found Rx Bars when we went Paleo this summer and was sold on the simple ingredient list. So far Chocolate Sea Salt is my fav, but there are so many more to try!

If you want to get your runner some gear, head over to my Winter Running Gear Wish List. Over there I highlighted the essential pieces for winter running and links to get them 🙂

Which would you like to give/get the most?

I’ve heard good things about those RX bars, but I’ve sadly never seen them in Canada.
